What do you get when you have meticulous build quality, flawless fit and finish, excellent vintage visual and a powerful commanding voice? Well…. the most popular Bourgeois guitar, the Bourgeois Vintage D of course!!
As with every Bourgeois the commitment producing excellent looking, sounding and playing flat top guitars is instantly clear. The Vintage D model features an Adirondack spruce top framed by a herringbone top trim and ivoroid binding, beautiful Indian rosewood sides and back, Waverly tuners and a Squares and Diamonds inlay on the ebony fretboard.
The extra stiffness of a properly sawn set of Adirondack spruce allows Bourgeois to build thinner and lighter tops which in turn creates more sustain, tons of power and a lightening quick response and note fundamental. These guitars have a wonderful dynamic range and they really shine when you dig in with an aggressive right hand attack driving the top. The notes practically jump out of the sound hole with crisp yet smooth clarity and layers of rich overtone content. Strum one of these wonderful guitars for a few minutes and it is very easy to see why it is Bourgeois most popular model!
