Serial Number:… 356759 circa 1965
Description:… This all original Gibson J-50 has seen a bit of play over the years and has quite a bit of
lacquer checking but is in great overall shape. The neck is very comfortable to play and the full warm
and woody tone this flat top produces would be right at home in the recording studio or on stage!
Neck:… Mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, 24 3/4″ scale length, 1 5/8″ nut width, medium elliptical
neck profile.
Frets:… Minor wear.
Body:… Slope shoulder dreadnought, sitka spruce top, mahogany sides and back, bound body,
rosewood bridge with plastic adjustable saddle.
Finish:… Lots of lacquer checking, small dents, chips and some wear through spots.
Hardware/electronics:… Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with white plastic buttons.
Playability/Action:… Great playability with current action at 6.5/64″ bass side and 5/64″ treble side.
Case:… Non original hardshell.
