Serial Number:… 37193 circa 1928
Description:… This little mahogany 00 may have had a few trips around the block but it is in great
overall shape for its age. The neck has been reset and the bridge replaced so the guitar plays very well
and has a lot of saddle height to work with. The woody sounding bass and distinct midrange
complement the softer rounded trebles for a lovely round tone. Very cool little guitar!!
Neck:… Mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, 1 13/16″ nut width, 25″ scale length, soft V neck profile, wear
spot on the back of the neck in first position, neck has had a pro reset and a spruce wedge was inserted
under the fingerboard tag during the reset to maintain a flat board form the 1st to 20th fret..
Frets:… Original bar frets with little wear.
Body:… 00 body, spruce top, mahogany sides and back, bridge has been replaced
Finish:… Lots of small scratches, dents and belt buckles wear, some lacquer checking on the top and
spot below the sound hole is worn through the finish to the bare wood.
Hardware/electronics:… Strip tuners
Playability/Action:… Great playability with current action at 5.5/64″ bass side and 5/64″ treble side with
8/64″ saddle protruding.
Case:… Period hardshell
Pricing:… $4999.99 Canadian Dollars (approx.$4716.US$ as of Aug.27/2010)
