Description:… Here is the grand father of flat top dreadnoughts, a mid 30′s D-28! This design is the
inspiration for so many guitars its hard to imagine what flat top acoustics would be without it. This
excellent sounding example features an Adirondack spruce top, Brazilian rosewood sides and back and a
comfortable soft V neck profile. This example has been refinished on the top and it shows signs of
having had a shaded top before the refinishing. The tone is warm, full and woody with a crisp yet
smooth top end and tons of bass and lower mids that bloom with overtones. This guitar plays great,
sounds great and is a very important part of acoustic guitar history!
