Here is a very cool Kay ThinTwin!
|Neck||Bound maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, block markers. 26″ scale length and 12″ radius. 1 11/16″ nut width.|
|Frets||Narrow ‘vintage’ wire with almost no wear.|
|Body||Arched laminated maple back, laminated maple top and sides. Checkerboard binding on body.|
|Hardware/electronics||Two chrome ‘Thin Twin’ single coils, pickup selector, individual volume and tone controls. Output jack on side of body. Strip tuners, probably by Gotoh. Chrome tunamatic bridge and trapeze tailpiece.|
|Playability/Action||This is a fairly long scale guitar – about 26″ – and it’s tight and has a very full sound. However the guitar doesn’t seem oversize, so you don’t need to be tall to play it comfortably.|
|Comments||This is a very cool guitar, and fits perfectly into many blues /early rock contexts. Great sound!|
