Neck Poplar neck with bound fingerboard, probably rosewood, no truss rod. Block ‘Mother of Toilet Seat’ inlays, very nice engraved and painted faux Tortoise peghead inlay. 25.25″ (642mm) scale length; 1.75″ (44.7mm) nut width.
Frets Medium wide frets with little wear.
Body Ladder-braced Spruce top, maple back and sides; bound back, top, and soundhole with purfling around the top. Side reinforcement strips and kerfed linings. The rosewood brige has been shaved and reinforcement bolts likely added under pearl dots.
Finish Original tobacco sunburst lacquer finish in quite good shape.
Hardware/electronics Original open tuners, Stat-Tite style, with white plastic oval buttons.
Playability/Action Plays well with an action around 7/64ths inch (2.77mm)

Comments This is a very cool instrument. It sounds great and looks good – the engraved peghead overlay is exceptionally nice.
