Feast your eyes and ears on this beautiful Taylor Grand Auditorium GA Sinker Redwood and Cocobolo from Taylor’s BTO (Build To Order) program. This exceptional guitar is part of a handful of guitars designed for The Twelfth Fret’s 35 anniversary year. Each guitar features different woods, body shape and esthetics. All of the wood sets were hand selected by myself and Andy Powers from Taylor and then I choose the rest of the specifications.
The Sinker Redwood and Cocobolo wood sets on this guitar both have lovely grain lines and the combination of a more mellow top with the deep and crisp Cocobolo on this body makes for a wonderful fingerstyle guitar. Warmth and clarity are abundant for both fingerstyle and light to medium strumming. There are so many great looks on this guitar but my personal favourite is the Cocobolo rosette on the Sinker top ….. delicious!!
