Comments Here’s a great condition L-series 1965 Fender Jazz Bass. The Jazz Bass has been in continuous production, with some variations, since its introduction in 1960. This version has individual volume controls and one tone control, and was built just prior to the shift to block position markers and bound fingerboard. The decals are in very good condition – on many instruments of this era, they have dried and chipped. There is some belt-buckle wear on the back but is otherwise in quite good condition. This is an early CBS-era instrument, as the company ownership change was announced on Janary 5, 1965.Also included is an appraisal, dated 2007, from Grunh Guitars.
