Comments Gretsch introduced the G6122 thinline version of their very successful 6120 in 1957. In 1962, the body received the second cutaway. It was used by many prominent guitarists, including, of course, George Harrison. This instrument was built at the beginning of the “Baldwin Era”, with the distinctive aluminum knobs the most visible sign of the change of ownership. It’s in very good condition, with no binding issues, and plays really well.
