The Twelfth Fret ~ Since 1977 ~

Fender Telecaster 1963 NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Comments Here is a Fender Telecaster from 1963. It’s been refinished and some parts replaced but plays very well and is every inch a Tele.
Serial Number L04894, 1963 model, neck dated 3DEC62B
Pricing $3,500 CAD with 1971 Fender hardshell case. NO LONGER AVAILABLE
Neck Maple neck with unbound rosewood fingerboard, clay dot markers. Fingerboard was dressed during a refret, so it’s a bit thinner in some spots.
Frets Minimal wear on replaced frets.
Body Ash body, stripped to natural.
Finish Non-original finish – the body was strupped long ago and refinished in natural. The original decal has been replaced – decals at that time were on top if the finish and deteriorated badly with age.
Hardware/electronics Replacement tuners, bridge pickup, electronics and saddles; original neck pickup. Ibanez V-style strap pins, which actually work very well.
Playability/Action This is a really great guitar to play!
Case 1971 black Fender hardshell case included.
