Neck Mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard, mother of pearl and abalone markers, flower style fretboard inlay, medium to full elliptical neck profile. Neck has recently been reset.
Frets Very little wear and tear
Body Indian rosewood back and sides with sitka spruce top, maple body binding. Ebony bridge.
Finish Good overall shape with some minor play wear scratches on the top and back.
Hardware/electronics Grover tuning gears.
Playability/Action Excellent playability and standard action height.
Case Original hardshell case included.
Comments Here is a lovely early 70’s concert size flat top from Master Luthier William Laskin. This classic wood pairing of Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood along with this body shape provides a well balanced tone with strong note fundamental, full rich bass response and wonderful overtones. The inlay work on this guitar subtly hints at the incredible artwork which has made William Laskin world famous! The neck on this guitar has recently been reset and it plays as well as it looks and sounds!!
