|Comments||Here is a Stonebridge G23-CR Steel String Guitar, built in the Czech Republic by Frantisek Furch. Furch has been building since 1981, and the Stonebridge name — which refers to the old name of the Charles Bridge in Prauge –has been in use since 2005. The quality of workmanship is very high.
This new instrument is built with an western cedar top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and a mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard and bridge. The cedar and rosewood provide and immediate and responsive sound, with a warm yet bright tone. The guitar comes with a Hiscox case.
Stonebridge guitars are well worth checking out.
And here’s Van Larkins demonstrating a Stonebridge G23 cutaway.
