2011 Cherryburst Gibson Les Paul 50s Tribute (consignment) SOLD

Comments Gibson has built the Les Paul model since 1952. This 2011 Cherryburst Gibson Les Paul 50s Tribute has all the basic, early Les Paul features – maple cap on a mahogany back, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, and P-90s. It’s also in near-mint condition. Overall this is an excellent instrument.

While the Tribute models are Les Pauls in far more than name, Gibson makes them less expensive by reducing things like decoration – there’s no binding on the top – and the amount of finish. One result of this is that the finish tends to wear quickly on the edges an arm hangs over.
