Comments Here we have a lightly-used 2012 Martin HD-28 MP Madagascar rosewood dreadnought guitar. This wonderful instrument, a variant of the classic, reliable Martin D-28 design, uses Madagascar rosewood, which has many of the visual and tonal qualities of Brazilian, but isn’t endangered.

The Martin HD-28 MP has the typical, lush and full Martin sound and the slightly slimmer ‘performance’ neck profile is very easy to get around on. The Herringbone purfling and grained ivoroid binding and heelcap are a very nice touch.

There is very little wear on this guitar, and very light fret wear. It has been played enough to be starting to open up, and it sounds really good.
