2012 Benedetto Bravo Sunburst Archtop (consignment) SOLD

Comments Bob Benedetto has been building archtop for decades. Born during 1948 in the Bronx, he built his first guitar at the age of 20. Since then, he’s focused on the archtop guitar, which has not always been the most popular design. His guitars are recognized as top quality, professional grade instruments.

The Benedetto Bravo was introduced to meet a need for a top-quality archtop that a player could travel with. The body uses a laminated spruce top and laminated maple back and sides – laminated woods are much less prone than solid woods to movement or cracking from natural changes in environmental temperature and humidity. The result is a much more reliable guitar. Built carefully, it’s also an extremely good sounding guitar.

This 2012 example is in good condition with just a few small finish chips.
