2006 Zemaitis Greco GZMF 500 (consignment) NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Zemaitis guitars are not very common – since Tony Zemaitis built his first, they have been handbuilt to order. Most have gone to top-shelf musicians like Ron Wood and George Harrison, attracted by the elaborate engraving, spectacular inlays, tone and playability.

The Zemaitis Greco GZMF 500 (Greco Zemaitis, Metal Front) is part of the GZ line, handbuilt in Japan by Greco under license from Zemaitis. These are top quality instruments. The body and neck are single pieces of Honduran mahogany, with an ebony board and headplate. The metal parts are Duralumin in the original Zemaitis design and a lot of engraving and decoration, with the engraving design by Danny OBrien.

The neck has a 25 inch scale length, and Schaller M6 tuners; the pickups are diMarzio PAF and are wired in the standard Gibson format.

This 2006 Zemaitis Greco GZMF 500 example is in great condition, with little fretwear and no significant marking. The original brown hardshell case is included.
