“Purple Berries” Ukulele Night With Douglas John Cameron • 27 November 2017

Join us at The Twelfth Fret with host Douglas John Cameron. The evening’s theme is “Purple Berries” after the line in “Wooden Ships” from Crosby Stills and Nash’s (CSN) first album.

Selections from Crosby Stills and Nash’s first album arranged for ukulele, performed by Douglas Cameron. Sing and play along with “Helplessly Hoping” and “Marrakesh Express” and enjoy renditions of “Guinevere”, “ Lady of the Island” and a work in progress version of “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” (featuring a unique CSN open tuning).

Tablature versions of the featured songs will be available.

“Say can I have some of your purple berries?  Yes, I’ve been eating them for six or seven weeks now haven’t got sick once – probably keep us both alive”.
