Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin CW II

Godin has done it again! Their 5th Avenue arch top guitar has become one of the most popular arch top models to come through our shop in a long time. A year after its release, they added a version with a single P90 pickup. This new model, called the Kingpin, once again became an instant hit amongst players. Now, Godin is taking this idea even further.

The new Kingpin CWII model offers an additional P90 pickup in the bridge position, as well as a cutaway for upper fret access. All of the features that have made the 5th Avenue series so popular are intact: the incredibly comfortable soft “C” shaped neck, the clear articulation of the string attack, the warm ‘thump’ to the lower midrange, the nice light body weight. The result is a guitar that offers a nice range of electric tones and great acoustic performance. Above all else, it is simply a blast to play.
