We are proud to present this very special guitar from the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville: The hand-signed Alex Lifeson Les Paul Axcess. Only 50 of these guitars are available world-wide (25 in Royal Crimson, and 25 in Viceroy Brown). We at the Twelfth Fret are lucky enough to have 2 of the signed Lifeson Les Paul Axcess guitars: 1 of each colour. The Royal Crimson is #5, the Viceroy Brown is #9.
The Alex Lifeson Les Paul Axcess is an impressive instrument from top to bottom. The contoured Mahogany body is wonderfully comfortable to hold, while the contoured neck heel makes reaching the upper frets easy. The 496R and 498T pickups are thick and powerful, and sound great with the coils split as well. Always wanting a wide range of tones at his disposal, Alex Lifeson opted to have his customized locking tremolo system outfitted with piezo elements.
