|Comments||Purchased new at The Twelfth Fret in May of 2011 and traded on a National Style 0.
While used, this instrument appears new and entirely unplayed: finish is brand new/mint with the exception of one very slight surface dent on the front below the volume control: no finish missing but slight depression visible in the finish.
This guitar is specifically designed to suit pro players for live Blues or R & B band applications: at high stage volumes without feedback issues. That said, the make useful acoustic guitars too. There is a large internal acoustic chamber and a surprising level of acoustic volume off the cone. Arguably about ½ the volume of a regular National Triolian or Style 0.
Many of my customers tell me the Res-O-Tone makes a wonderful acoustic “parlour” instrument for song writing, practice and general late at night playing where family members would complain if one hammered away on a Triolian.
