Comments Here’s a very nice Eastman 815V mandolin. This is the ‘Vintage’ version of the popular 815 F-style model, and is often considered the best-sounding Eastman Mandolin.
Pricing $1680 CAD including case.
Neck Curly maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard. Dot abalone markers, 13 7/8″ scale, 12″ radius, 1 3/32″ nut width.
Frets Standard narrow mandolin frets, Dunlop 6310.
Body F-style body design. Carved, curly maple back and spruce top. Curly maple sides. Body has multi-layer binding.
Finish Oil varnish, tobacco sunburst finish.
Hardware/electronics Gold open strip Schaller tuners with pearloid buttons, ebony bridge, nickel tailpiece.
Playability/Action Plays well right out of the box, and we will of course adjust to suit the needs of the player.
Case Rectangular fitted case included.
