Comments	The Deering Banjo Company has been a major force in the resurgence of interest in the banjo. Their banjos cover a wide price range, but don’t compromise on quality. Vega is one of the oldest names in American music history, going back to 1881 in Boston, and remained in operation until the 1970’s, when Martin purchased the company. In 1989, Deering purchased the Vega name to use on a line of banjos. The Vega Little Wonder is intended to be a quality instrument at a reasonable price – so it uses quality woods (maple and ebony) and good hardware but doesn’t have a lot of decoration. This very lightly used 2013 Deering Vega Little Wonder banjo is in nearly new condition, has been set up and has three capo tacks installed. Read the Deering page on the Vega Little Wonder here

Neck	Curly maple neck with unbound ebony fingerboard.
Frets	No detectable wear on original frets.
Body	Maple tone ring
Finish	Walnut stain with a satin sealer.
Hardware/electronics	Deering hardware with nickel finish. Capo tacks installed at frets 7, 9 and 10.
Playability/Action	Plays very well and we will of course set the instrument up to the player’s requirements.
