Comments Here is a wonderful flat-top steel string guitar from Ryo Ryosuke Kobayashi, built during 2012. Ryo Ryosuke Kobayashi apprenticed to Sergei de Jonge at his shop in Chelsea, Quebec.

This impressive instrument feaetures a somewhat oversize classical shaped body and an elegant contoured cutaway. The top is bound and the purfling follows the line of the cutaway very nicely.

Serial Number 332812, built during 2012 in Chelsea, Quebec.
Pricing $3999 CAD with case.
Neck Mahogany neck with rosewood-bound ebony fingerboard. 645mm scale length, 44.5mm nut width.
Frets 12 frets to the body, a total of 20 to the tag extending over the soundhole.
Body Oversize ‘classical’ shape body with contoured cutaway; German spruce top with Indian rosewood sides and back.
Finish Gloss lacquer finish.
Hardware/electronics Gotoh 18:1 tuners, bone nut and saddle.
Playability/Action This guitar plays wonderfully.
Case Tweed, hardshell, archtop case included.
