MORE →Produced as one of 40 by the Bozeman, Montana Custom Shop, this Gibson ‘The Firebird’ is a spectacular square-shoulder dreadnought steel string with quilted Maple back and sides. Introduced in 2004 and recently discontinued, the Gibson ‘The Firebird’ model is based on a full size, square shoulder, Maple body dreadnought. Maple tends to be fairly bright, but the tonal characteristics of the Dreadnought body add quite a bit of bottom end and fullness.
The Gibson L-00 Sustainable was a limited run instrument built during 2019 in Bozeman MT using sustainably harvested indigenous woods. The L-00 model was first built from 1932 to 1946, with a body shape influenced by ‘Parlor’ models. Ultimately its place in the lineup went to the LG2, which was produced from 1946 to 1962

MORE →The Gibson Country Western Model debuted in 1955 as a miracle of rebranding – it is the classic Gibson SJ-N, Southern Jumbo Natural, with a new label! The SJ-N appeared in 1942, became the Country Western in 1955, was again renamed the SJ-N in 1960, and finally dubbed the SJ Country Western in 1962. The model was discontinued in 1977. The Gibson Country Western model, like the SJ-N, pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck.

Currently, this model is listed with Eric Church started writing songs at age 13 and has been performing as a Country artist since high school. He’s had a string of albums and hits, and has performed at the Opry several times, first in 2006.
