❌SOLD❌ Guild GAD-50E Amber Dreadnought, 2005

Here is a lovely and great sounding Guild GAD-50e AMB – for Amber – non-cutaway Dreadnought guitar, built during 2005. When introduced in 2004 under the ownership of Fender Musical Instrument Corporation (FMIC), the GAD series represented Guild’s effort to provide a lower cost but high quality instrument and in this they definitely succeeded. Based on the D-50 Bluegrass model introduced in 1963, the Guild GAD-50E uses the Dreadnought body design. ❌SOLD❌ Guild Bluegrass F47 Steel String Acoustic Natural, 1972

❌SOLD❌ Guild Bluegrass F47 Steel String Acoustic Natural, 1972

Introduced in 1963, the Guild Bluegrass F47  model was aimed at the exploding folk and bluegrass boom. In 1966, production moved from Hoboken NJ to Westerly RI.  In 1972, the year this guitar was built, Guild’s President Alfred Dronge was killed in a plane crash and was succeeded by Leon Tell.  The Guild Bluegrass F47, here seen as a one-owner-since-new 1972 model, is based on what’s currently referred to as a ‘Grand Orchestra’ body shape, with solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides.
