Here we have a Gadow Custom DC Set Neck model with a carved Maple top on Mahogany wearing a Sunburst finish, built during 2007 in Durham, North Carolina. This guitar uses familiar and proven formulas, combining a Mahogany back and neck with a carved Maple top. The Double-Cut body shape was originally used by Gibson for Les Paul Junior models in 1958 and the Les Paul Special for 1959, updating the previous single-cutaway, slab-bodied and poorly-selling models.

This is a very rare Gibson ‘Lucy’ LPR-7, reproducing George Harrison’s Les Paul and one of a very few built during 2007. Apparently five prototypes were built, then a run of perhaps 25 guitars, including this one, which were mostly aimed at the Japanese market. The project was then put on hold until 2013, when a larger run of 100 reissues were made.

Here we have a Collings OM1 Custom, based on a stock OM1 but with a half inch deeper body providing more bass and fuller sound, filling out an already great tone, and a slightly wider fingerboard. This Collings OM1 Custom guitar was built for The Twelfth Fret, with a 4.5 inch body depth and a 12.75 inch nut width being the only differences from the stock OM1.

The Gibson SG Custom began its career as a radically re-worked version of the Les Paul Custom, along with the SG Standard. Gibson was faced with poor sales of the original single-cut Les Paul model, and in 1960 began to introduce a much lighter double-cutaway version that allowed unrestricted access to all of the neck.
