The Bourgeois Custom Slope D aims to deliver the sound and feel of pre-WW2 round-shoulder dreadnoughts, an near ideal instrument for flat-picking styles. Dating to 2003 and built in Lewiston, Maine, this Bourgeois Custom Slope D dreadnought is in very good condition with just light wear. It features an Adirondack Spruce top, Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck, Ebony for the fingerboard and bridge, and Indian Rosewood for the head plate.

Gibson Country Western Model Natural, 1957 ( No Longer Available)

The Gibson Country Western Model debuted in 1955 as a miracle of rebranding – it is the classic Gibson SJ-N, Southern Jumbo Natural, with a new label! The SJ-N appeared in 1942, became the Country Western in 1955, was again renamed the SJ-N in 1960, and finally dubbed the SJ Country Western in 1962. The model was discontinued in 1977. The Gibson Country Western model, like the SJ-N, pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck.

The Collings CJ GSB is a fantastic instrument, taking cues from classic slope-shouldered dreadnought models and far surpassing them in build and materials quality. The CJ stands for “Collings Jumbo” while the “GSB” means that this guitar has both a German Spruce top and a Sunburst finish, two of the basic options for this model.

From the now-discontinued ‘Genuine’ line and built during 2014, this Boucher Genuine Goose Dreadnought features an Adirondack Red Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. Delivering a full rich well defined tone backed by plenty of power and projection, this Boucher Genuine Goose Dreadnought is an impressive guitar. It plays well, and really fills the space it’s played in. This guitar can easily co-exist with other acoustic instruments like banjos and mandolins.

Here we have a lovely Martin D-18 Dreadnought in the stock Natural finish, dated to January of 1957 and used as intended! This Martin D-18 was built in Nazareth, Pennsylvania and dates to January 1957. it is in good playable condition, with a fresh re-fret, bridge plate repair and setup performed at The Twelfth Fret Repair Shop. The Kluson tuners are original, and there are no electronics.
