This G W Barry M-Body guitar was built during 1998 at G W Barry’s shop in Toronto, Canada. As such, it features Barry’s ‘M’ body design, derived partly from the Martin style body. The top is Sitka Spruce with a paua abalone rosette and top binding, the back, sides and neck plate of Indian Rosewood, with mahogany for the neck and ebony for the bridge and bound fingerboard. A Fishman Matrix pickup, with no controls, is installed to an endpin jack. Tuners are by Gotoh, and have ebony buttons. The A button has a crack, which is relatively common with these units.

At any point in time there are several guitars on the floor here at The Twelfth Fret that are just a cut above everything else, not only here in the shop, but anywhere.
