The Twelfth Fret ~ Since 1977 ~

❌SOLD❌ Fender Stratocaster Maple Neck Blonde, 1974

Instrument Categories: , ,

The Fender Stratocaster has been an extremely successful design, perhaps second only to the Fender Telecaster. This very nice example was built in 1974 at the Fender plant in Fullerton, California during the CBS period.

Carrying a nicely yellowed white finish and maple neck, this guitar is in very good condition with what appears to be entirely original parts, including pots dating to 1974 and a three-way switch. Fretwear is minimal though it is possible that the first two frets were replaced at some point, very carefully. The finish is in quite good shape with a few small dents and some stains, possibly from a strap.

This guitar plays well, has a nice weight and we all like the neck profile – it’s not chunky or too thin and has a mild V profile.

A non-original hardshell case is included.
