S/N: 1073, built during February 2004 at the National shop in San Luis Opisbo, California.
The National Delphi Deluxe, now out of production, is a single cone, metal body resophonic instrument with upgraded appointments and a powder coat finish. Here it's in a taupe coloured, 12-fret version, with a long, grained ivoroid National pickguard and a Highlander biscuit bridge pickup added. The Deluxe appointments include grained ivoroid fingerboard binding, heel cap and engraved headplate, and mother of pearl 'diamond' position markers. The slotted peghead carries Grover Deluxe strip tuners with metal buttons.
This National Delphi Deluxe dates to February of 2004, and is in overall good condition with some small dents on the neck. The scale length is 25 inches. It's been set up for slide so there's very little actual fret wear; a light polish would make the frets look and feel new. The original hardshell case is included.
