The Les Paul Traditional body is built with the iconic Les Paul shape, with a classic bookmatched flame maple top and solid mahogany back. However, the body has nine cavities for weight relief and resonance - and which increase acoustic volume. The neck is mahogany with a bound rosewood fingerboard, the pickups are 57 Classic in the neck and a Bustbucker 3 in the bridge position. Here's where the modern influences appear - the pickups are wired for coil splitting through push-pull pots, and there's an active preamp also engaged through a push-pull pot. You may notice the battery access on the back control over. Finally, the tuners are locking Grover Roto-Matics. I've become a big fan of locking tuners - they really make string changes fast and easy.
This example dates to June 7th, 2013 at the Gibson Nashville plant. It is in near perfect condition, with no play wear. The case is in similar condition, with just a bit of dust on it, and the original factory documentation in the pocket.
