Gretsch G6130 Roundup

Fred Gretsch introduced his first “solidbody” guitar in 1953 with the Duo-Jet and followed this model in 1954 with the G6130 Roundup.

When Fred decided he wanted a western motif for this new guitar, he certainly wasn’t bashful about it! This model features the now famous “Gretsch Orange” finish, G-brand impressed into the top, western engraved block fingerboard markers, steerhead peghead inlay, Melita bridge, Bigsby tailpiece, tooled leather side strip with brass tacks, white tolex case with tooled leather trim, Dynasonic pickups and enough gold hardware to make Fort Knox blush!!!
