| The new Jerry Douglas Signature Edition (JD) features a unique
“E™” body configuration with solid mahogany back, sides and a stunning
Pomele Sapele top. The guitar features the Beard open brace body construction
and arched back while adding other internal features specific to this signature
edition. This design throws a soaring high end while retaining a magnificent
bass response. The guitar is capable of unparalleled aggressiveness and
sensual melodic phrasing. This is a guitar which fulfills the Jerry Douglas
role as a world class musician, making any style of music he desires.
Other design features include curly maple binding, 25 inch
scale, Waverly open geared tuning machines, “Wave™” pattern inlay, “Spinning
Palm™” design coverplate and “Jerry Douglas” signature inlay, in Mother
of Pearl, at the nineteenth fret. The guitar is offered with a special
hard shell case. |

(JDLTD) features a unique “E™” body configuration with stunning solid Pomele
Sapele top, back and sides. The availability of this spectacular wood will
limit production to fifty hand crafted guitars. The guitar features the
Beard open brace body construction and arched back while adding other internal
features specific to this signature edition. This design throws a soaring
high end while retaining a magnificent bass response. The guitar is capable
of unparalleled aggressiveness and sensual melodic phrasing. This is a
guitar which fulfills Jerry Douglas’ role as a world class musician, making
any style of music he desires. For the guitar to hold its own acoustic
properties against amplified accompaniment the guitar will feature a new
concept, customized spider bridge and pickup system. The pickup was designed
by Larry Fishman in collaboration with Paul Beard. The guitar will be fully
compatible with the new Fishman, Jerry Douglas Aura pedal for resonator
guitar.
