Intrigued by Allan's futuristic design ethic & inimitable tone,  a good customer of ours decided to put together a list of criteria for his dream guitar ... a list that included a premium Adirondack spruce top,  luscious Brazilian rosewood back & sides,  41-style abalone top trim,  X-ray rosette motif,  Laskin armrest,  double side ports with raised surrounds and extensive custom inlay work designed by and symbolic of his close knit family.  He even made a trip out to Winnipeg to talk to Allan and choose his tonewoods! 

    The resulting instrument was delivered to our store last week and I was able to bang off a few shots and play it briefly before John picked it up.  Apart from its obviously impressive visual attributes,  this instrument has all of the unique & multi-faceted tone characteristics that has become this builder's sonic fingerprint as well as possessing enviable ease of playability ... quite the amazing guitar to put it mildly. Like I said,  some people really do things right!
