| I can't tell you what a pleasure & honour it is
to be able to offer this magnificent new instrument from veteran luthier
Marc Beneteau. In today's market where there seems to be a custom
guitar builder on every other street corner, Marc has carved out
a reputation that is the envy of our industry. He has been
graciously acknowledging my subtle hints that we would like to handle his
instruments for a couple of decades now ... and finally my persistent harassment
has born fruit!
I've known Marc for over thirty years and he hasn't
changed a bit. He is one of the most unassuming people I've ever
met ... you would never imagine that he commands the respect that he does
amongst luthiers. I've always loved his work and after familiarizing
myself with this particular guitar I think that I can officially state
that I am in complete awe of this man's talent!

The absolutely stunning piece of eye-candy that I'm presenting today features
one of the highest grade Engelmann tops I've seen in decades, a set
of Madagascar rosewood that literally hypnotizes you, a sonically
super-efficient side port and one of my favorite innovations ... the Laskin
armrest. All of these features hang together on the faultless
curves, lines & proportions that are the hallmark of a builder
with an exceptionally astute eye for pleasing aesthetics. |
