The American Standard Telecaster has been one of the most popular solidbody electric guitars in the world since it was first introduced, so what does Fender decide to do? They decide to improve it ... and improve it they did!

The latest version of this classic guitar design features a new 5-screw brass bridge with bent steel saddles & elongated string slots for improved resonance, rolled fingerboard edges for added comfort, a thinner undercoat finish to let the body breath & respond more naturally, and a bullet proof new hardshell molded case from SKB with TSA Locks, Glass Reinforced Nylon Trigger Latches & Form Fitted Plush Interior!

Add to this impressive list the Fender high ratio sealed staggered-height tuners, low friction pin style string tree, comfortable Modern C-shape neck profile, a couple of American Tele single coil pickups with the proprietary Delta no-load tone control system ... and I think it's safe to say the Fender Musical Instrument Co. has actually improved on a design that I thought had fully evolved already!
