Every year, the Salon de Guitare de Montreal
(Montreal Guitar Show) gives thousands of musicians the chance to treat
their eyes and ears the latest and greatest creations from over 130 of
the finest luthiers in the world. This prestigious gathering showcases
one of most impressive collections of handmade guitars and gives new and
establish luthiers the chance to put their talents on display.
This year, luthiers Gordon Barry and Douglas Harrison
from the Twelfth Fret along with our good friend David Wren traveled to
Montreal to show off a collection of their superb craftsmanship! This is
the first year at the Montreal Guitar Show for both Gord and Doug and it
seems to have left a lasting impression. They were very impressed by the
sheer volume of talented luthiers and patrons in attendance. For those
not fortunate enough to be there, here are some photo's from the show...
just a small taste of some of the Barry and Harrison Guitars that will
