| So a gentleman walks into our store a couple of weeks
ago, takes a good look around, walks up to the counter and
tells us "Hey, I love your store! My name's Sterling Ball."
Big hesitation by us ... look to see if he's kidding ... then recognize
him. It really is Sterling himself!!! He just walks in unannounced
with his two sons, was up in Toronto and wanted to pop in and say
hi and maybe do some shopping for vintage amps and other odds & sods!
That is one of the many cool things about the
Music Man company. They are big enough to be a major player in the
industry but small enough to still have a really personal touch.
You can actually talk to the guy making the nut on that custom order and
give him an idea of how the customer wants the strings spaced ... from
a company who have been a household name for over twenty years with a client
roster that includes some of the most respected guitar players of our generation!
