Master Grade Koa upcharge is $4500.00 (not the guitar, just the wood
upcharge) on the new Build-To-Order sheet, and considering this instrument
sells for WELL below that mark ... I'm thinking this is a pretty spectacular
deal!!! I'm not sure how these instruments slipped past Bob Taylor's
masterful marketing department, but they certainly seem to have flown
under the radar!
To begin with, this new Grand
Symphony body shape is the best thing Taylor has done ... period!
You still get that ultra crisp attack and prominent overtone series that
this company has built it's reputation on, but a MUCH more commanding
overall presence. Add this absolutely spectacular set of dark rich
flamed Hawaiian koa & an Expression System at a very reasonable price
... and it makes me wish that I could get fifty more of these things!!! |
