great concepts from the early carved top A-style mandolins and then give
them a modern spin ... full 13 7/8" scale length with a suspended fingerboard
extension, radiused fingerboard and the Brekke bridge!
The sound definitely has the best of a vintage
A ... that warmth in the midrange and overall sonic depth, with much
better definition and a really nice point to the attack transient.
I could see this one being used for everything from fiddle tunes to Bluegrass
to general jobbing sideman duty! |
