| The Alhambra workshop
of Muro De Alcoy has long been know for their concert quality and
high end "Estudio" classical guitars. The model CTW-5P-EST-E pictured
above, with it's state of the art electronics and thinline body design,
is therefore a slight departure for this traditional Spanish company.
Alhambra has brought
the same old world craftsmanship and attention to detail to this performance
oriented instrument as it does to it's handmade concert models. The
solid tight-grained Western Red cedar top is bookmatched and fan strutted.
The 50 mm neck width has a very familiar classical guitar feel but a thinline
body gives this instrument it's very sleek sensibility, at the same time
providing a much higher feedback threshold for it's Fishman Prefix Pro
Blend dual piezo/microphone pickup system.
This model is also
available in full depth (5P CTW) and flamenco (7FS) versions. |
