looking at the wrong guy. Current events? I've
got my head in the sand so deep you can barely see my toes.
I couldn't hammer a nail in straight with a gun to my head. I certainly
can't string more than two words together without breaking every grammatical
rule in the book! I can't dance and you DON'T want to hear
me try and sing. There's only one thing I do well and that
is guitars .... especially flat top acoustic steel strings.
I've inhaled enough spruce sawdust to sink a ship
and I've got the pore structure of rosewood burned into my retinas.
I attend every major guitar show in North America and see a lot of REALLY
talented luthiers and their work. After following G.W. Barry's career
for the last 25 years and playing his latest instrument, I am absolutely
convinced that he is now one of the top three builders of steel string
guitars in the world today.
It is tough (and getting tougher) for an instrument
to stand out in a store like ours. We have a constant flow of REALLY
nice instruments coming through but yes, this guitar really does
stand out. How do you describe the sound of a guitar like this?
Well ...... it's just got MORE; more clarity, more complexity,
more response, more attack, more layers, more LIFE!This
instrument is just an absolute joy to experience!!!!!!!!
