| The combination of the K-body style with
full 13 7/8" scale length, suspended fingerboard extension,
oval sound hole and X-bracing makes this mandolin sonically unique and
very appealing. The Breedlove Columbia has some of that warmth of
the old F-4 mandolins but none of that 'tubby' midrange. These
things are warm, barky-loud, but with lots of pristine attack and
shimmer! |
