| This version of the 'John Hartford'
is probably the most unique design in Deering's extensive line of handmade
American banjos. The light weight Granadillo wood tone ring combined
with a 3-ply rim and one-piece zink flange not only creates a tone reminiscent
of a vintage pre-war instrument, but it improves dramatically as
it is 'played in', similar to a violin!
