Eastman Mandolins ; the MD615 in Classic Antique Violin Red finish

Well,  if the folks at Eastman Strings had total world domination in mind when they introduced these mandolins,  they may not be far off the mark!  Certainly our mandolin sales have almost doubled since we have taken on this line.  They are THAT good in my opinion!

The Eastman model MD615 pictured above is our most popular model.  The tone from these mandolins comes from the fact that the European spruce top and flamed maple back are hand carved from thick violin wood.   All other mandolins in this price range claim to have solid carved tops but are actually pressed flat tops that are then recarved.

These mandolins are GREAT;   not great 'for the money',  just GREAT!
