of our first Epiphone Elite Series J-45 guitar! This instrument
has the same high level of craftsmanship as the other Elite guitars we
have inspected and features a solid bookmatched Sitka spruce top, solid
tropical mahogany back, unbound rosewood fingerboard with 20 highly
polished frets, adjustable truss rod, U.S. made Grover Rotomatic
tuners, reverse belly rosewood bridge, 'tortoiseshell' pickguard,
true X-bracing with maple bridge plate and a flawless sunburst finish with
an overall 'aged' patina.
The sound of this guitar is
on the same level and very reminiscent of the Gibson J-45 or the original
issue Epiphone Texan guitars of the 1960's. Anyone out there
with champagne taste and a beer budget? This guitar is for you! |
