Godin Guitars ; Model SDxt

We have been carrying guitars made by Robert Godin for twenty years and now that their internet policy has changed,  we are actually able to tell you how GREAT they are!!!   This company is literally one of the world leaders in manufacturing extremely high quality,  affordable and innovative stringed instruments with state-of-the-art facilities in both Canada and the U.S.!

Today I'd like to feature one of my favorite guitars from their 'Performance Series' solidbody electric line.  The model SDxt,  like all of their instruments,  is a precision made guitar that utilizes quality hardware and resonant tonewoods.  The neck pockets are extra deep,  tight fitting  with all lacquer and compounds removed  for great transfer of vibration to the neck (and improved tuning stability).   The rib-rest body contour is deep and comfortable while the sculpted neck bolt area provides outstanding access to the upper registers!

As handsome as this instrument is (what a SUPERB quilted cap!!!  I'm hip-no-tized!)  this instrument's strengths are its ease of playability and wide sonic pallet.  The nicely finished frets in combination with a 12" radius fingerboard make vibrato and string bending quite effortless.   The combination of hum-single-hum with a simple 5-way/master volume/master tone allows a HUGE selection of tones with a minimum of fuss.  This is a serious musical tool at a VERY reasonable price point!!!!!!
