Ibanez Guitars : JS-1200 Joe Satriani

Who would have thought that I (old-acoustic-folkie-wannabe-jazzer) would EVER like a Floyd equipped solidbody?!?!? This Satriani signature model from Ibanez REALLY does feel absolutely wonderful! The light basswood body is heavily contoured with large radiused edges and the neck has a nice 'worn' sort of feel. You have to love the high-but-narrow 6105 frets for bends and vibrato (our shop fave in fretwire choice).

The electronics are a couple of mid-output DiMarzios with push/pull pots on both the master volume and master tone that leave the inside coils active to give you an 'out of phase' strat sound as well as the conventional full humcancelling modes!!!
