| This year's NAMM music trade
show is notable for the announcement (finally!) by Ibanez that they are
reissuing a limited run of the original TS-808 ' Tubescreamer ' pedals!
Housed in the original green
box with small square switch, this reissue uses the same JRC4558
chip that most of the originals had. This has to be the all-time
most popular stomp box for achieving a legitimate overdriven tube amplifier
sound and has been used by countless luminaries not the least of whom was
Stevie Ray Vaughn! |
