The D-18GE in sunburst finish sports the classic appointments from
the 1930's that just appeal so much to me! The subtle abalone dot
fretboard markers, beveled tortoiseshell pickguard, pale Brazilian
rosewood peghead overlay and of course the striking sunburst finish,
all add up to an elegantly understated aesthetic.
It doesn't take long, in any
general discussion of Martin guitars, for the D-18GE Golden Era model
to come up. This powerful dreadnought model has a reputation for
consistently producing the power and dynamic voice needed to be heard in
modern acoustic music. This guitar is very much a winner!!! |
